[dms-discuss] Important Time-Sensitive Tasks: Dump Runs and Assets Removal Effort

Hi all,

Good progress was made at our old space before the end of September,
everything that our organization wishes to keep has either been temporarily
re-homed with a few different "stewards of the large power tools" or has
been relatively neatly gathered against the back wall of the old space.
This stuff against the back wall should all fit easily within less than the
8x8 foot area that Emily described as being available for DMS to store
stuff inside her garage.

There does remain a fair number of things that need to be gone, probably a
few dump runs of what the dump would call household waste, a small pile of
e-waste that Rob can dispose of for us, and a few items that really
shouldn't be thrown away (couch, mini-fridge, laser printer, etc) that once
again Rob has offered to assist in re-homing.

The new tennants have given us until the 21st to be completely out, and we
should not rest on our laurels quite yet. In my opinion it is paramount
that we continue to hammer away at this with as much time and energy as we
can muster, because nothing is ever as easy as it initially seems.

Emily, in the past you had mentioned the 12th as being a good day to move
things into your garage, is this still true? Once we hear back from you, I
would like to organize a few additional volunteers to help you with loading
and unloading that stuff. Perhaps this Saturday the 12th starting at 1pm?
Just spitballing here, let us know what works for you.

Once a date has been established for when we can move our remaining assets
to Emily's garage, I will follow-up regarding setting up a similar call for
volunteers to help with loading and unloading a truck for some dump runs.

Thank you all so much,
-Britney
