Hi Makers,

The RadioShack by the Davis Food Co-op is liquidating everything and they
have a lot of retail shelving for sale. What caught my eye was their
slatwall shelving, which mounts to a wall via vertical metal brackets every
2 feet. Each slatwall panel is 4ft high by 2ft wide, and they are setup in
sets of 2 (as pictured). They are asking $20 obo for each 2 panel set
(brackets included). Shelves are $5 each obo. They will consider offers and
it would be cheaper in bulk, and they are getting more desperate to sell as
May 30th approaches (their last day of sale).

I forgot to ask about weight bearing, some brief research online suggests
standard MDF slatwall will support 10-15 pounds per bracket, while
reinforced slatwall with metal inserts supports 50-60 pounds per bracket.
Assuming they are MDF we can still use them for tools, parts, 3d printers,
etc.

I'm still unsure if they are the right thing for the space, let me know if
anyone thinks they are a good/bad fit.

They also have some nice drawers (see pics below). A bit pricey at
$100 for each
7-drawer set, but again they are taking offers. Each 7-drawer set is
16''x24''x25'' and they are stacked 2 high in the pictures.
