Hi Folks,

Here is some feedback from Cathy who came by in the morning of the
Repair Cafe.

If you don't mind one more forward (this became a bit of a white whale
for us all on Sunday!) ...

I decided to try to work on my original vacuum and while removing the
batteries from the one we worked on at the Repair café, I noticed a tiny
tuft of cat fur sticking out from the side of the wheel. I started to
pull it out and a lot came out.

When I checked the vacuum's roller, it now turned with ease, so the
stuck wheel was what was causing the stuck brush error.

It is now happily vacuuming!

Thanks again!

Cat

Jordan and Jax helped me take it apart to inspect and I said I would
report back via you after I recharged it at home.

It now thinks that the dirt bin isn't all the way in, so I taped over
the sensor to bypass that.

But when I asked it to clean, it still reads that the brush is stuck.

My plan is to inspect my original Neato with more confidence than I
would have had before their help today. Maybe the problem with my
original is still hackable.

Thanks so much for passing this on. Hope your power wasn't out for too long!
