Hi gang --

The time has come for me to move on, and so tonight is my last night as
a volunteer,
and my last night as a member. I'd like to say thanks to all of the
great folks
that I've met through Davis Makerspace. I won't say good-bye because
I'll still
be in Davis, and I look forward to running into you now and then.

I have very fond memories of being a part of the Space and of doing fun
things
with you great folks: Sharing your brunches; having late-night chats
about
biofeedback, consciousness, cosmology, science, programming, and
engineering;
teaching folks how to print in 3D, cut foam, design circuits, solder,
and program;
building the Automatic Door Mechanism, the Giant VU Meters, paper air
rockets,
thermo-formed Mutant Ninja turtle masks, and other gadgets and gizmos;
building window latches and shades and painting window frames;
wiring the lamps and Engineering Bay; repairing chairs, tables,
electric drills,
audio amplifiers, laser light shows, the movie screen, and other odds
and ends;
and all kinds of other fun things -- even being your Candy Czar.

You are always welcome to drop me an email -- I'll be lurking on the
discuss list -- and if you need help repairing the Automatic Door
Mechanism
or the Giant VU Meters, just let me know.

I have only the best wishes for Davis Makerspace, and I expect that
I'll
drop in once in a while just to see how you're all doing.

Take care, and keep on making!
