Hi Emily,

I'm still planning on showing some items next Friday.  I had a lot of 
fun at the first Art About I participated in, so I'm pretty excited to 
do it again.  I have two new drums I'm going to show, plus a stand, and 
some clothing that I made that goes along with the taiko theme.  There 
were numerous inspirations going into all this work, so I should be able 
to provide some information on that early stages to go along with each 
piece.

Medium of artwork:  Paper, drawing, fabric, wood, rawhide & electronics

Description:
Davis Makerspaces local artists and makers are sharing ideas.  Come and 
see the early stages of complex projects in the form of: story-boarding, 
data diagrams, technical drawings, templates, patterns, research, 
experiments, and so on.   Interactive pieces may involve a Kinect, 
Arduino, taiko drums or some squares on the floor. If you ever get 
stumped when brainstorming, come and see how others get started.

Hours of event on evening of ArtAbout: 7-9PM, Fri Night only
