[dms-discuss] Free oil filters Event: Saturday May 17th

At yesterday's Waste Advisory Committee at the Yolo County Landfill 
Saturday May 17th was announced as the date to obtain ( limit two) oil 
filters at no cost by turning in used oil filters. Locally Reilly's and 
Napa are participating in the state-sponsored program to promote the 
proper disposal of spent oil and filters. (Never put them in the trash 
or let oil drain into the storm drains--you would think this is obvious, 
it's not to  some. )

  If any one needs oil collection containers to borrow I have three of 
them. Spent oil can also be dropped off at DWR yard on Second st. I also 
have car ramps and jack stands  if you don't like the 
two-tires-up-on-the-curb method of access. Timely oil changes reduce 
premature engine wear and prolongs engine life.
