[dms-discuss] bicycle themed art about

Yeah, I saw that people were confused by the link so I wanted to give
the "primary source".

They do a couple of themed events a year, and the theme is always
optional (usually doing something that fits the theme gets you better
placement in their publicity though).  Members are encouraged to show
anything they've made - regardless of when it was made, if it is for
sale or not, or if it fits any theme.  The ArtAbout is basically just
a tool for promoting downtown businesses (of which we are one) and so
they are quite flexible and very good at helping us out.  Also, the
coordinator is very friendly and excited about the Makerspace!

I guess what I am trying to get across is that members should bring in
anything they want to show.  If you can let us know what it is
beforehand we'll work on getting you into the publicity and have your
name mentioned in the paper etc., but even if you just have something
to futz about with on the night of the show feel free to bring it by
and engage with the public!
