I just want to add that communication is helpful for letting people know the status of stuff is in the space. If you have an item there that you don't want thrown out, put a note on it or send an email to the list. If you're storing material with someone's approval and you don't want it to be used by someone else, leave a note. We have a lot of shared tools and material, so just let people know if something has special instructions. A little communication up front will go a long way.
