Hi James and everybody --

1) On March 30 James emailed the discussion group and said that we would soon be voting on "whether to official [sic] adopt the interim key policy".

I think that maybe James meant the "Initial" key policy which he linked to, not the OLDER interim key policy?

Yes?

2) Assuming that we will be voting on the Initial key policy at James' link, I see two unexplained asterisks in one line: "Must commit to donating back to the community ** through..."

What are those asterisks about? Shouldn't they be removed before we vote?

3) There is a line that contains only an ellipsis ("..."). Obviously, it can't be in an official policy, so I think that after all this time it should be removed.

4) On March 18 James replied to my email about Key Policy, and it seems like he agrees with me that the proposal about "money and/or accepted tools" does in fact sound like an end-run around our non-profit's "no special benefits in return for money" requirement. He asked for thoughts or comments from others, and Jeff replied. Nobody else has emailed the discussion list about the
upcoming vote.

Since nobody else has responded, I'd like to ask that the line "Money and/or accepted tools" be taken out of the proposal.

5) The rest of it looks fine to me (provided that those asterisks and the ellipsis can be satisfactorily handled).

Thanks!
