Monday Meeting

Fellow Makers-

It's time for our September business meeting. 7PM. Downtown. Here's the
agenda so far. If there's anything you'd like to add let me know or bring
it up at the meeting.

1.) Donations: We have too much stuff! A pile has been steadily growing and
space is at a premium.  We need to discuss how best to make it go away. We
should also talk about how to handle future donations.

2.) Bylaws: James and some others have been working hard on revising our
bylaws so we can finally get our non-profit badge. Please check it out (
https://github.com/davismakerspace/bylaws) and come with any
questions/additions you think of. We will vote to adopt these bylaws at the
meeting.

3.) Liability Waivers: We briefly discussed this at the last meeting, but
we need to put something in place soon. We also need to formalize a policy
regarding kids in the space.

4.) Makerspace Radio: At the last meeting we were offered a radio station
(sort of). It's not a sure thing, but we need to decide if this is
something we want to pursue.

5.) Project updates: There are a number of projects currently underway.
We'll get updates from the various groups. Also, we're still looking for
some group projects so if you have an idea bring it up at the meeting.

6.) Chaos course: Last week I met with a postdoc in Physics who is
interested in teaching a class on non-linear dynamics and chaos that would
be open to the general public. He was thinking of holding in it a
restaurant/bar downtown. I think it would be perfect for our space. Let's
discuss it.
