That video was awesome. You put together a really great looking project.I would certainly be interested in seeing your presentation. How much timewould you need? We could have it at the second meeting in October.

In response to the Kickstarter proposal suggested last meeting, I wanted to share a Kickstarter project I worked on over the summer for the Sacramento Taiko Dan.  I did a fair amount of work on this fundraiser (general coordination, writing and page layout, video production, supporter outreach, and more).

As part of this work, I've been preparing a presentation that I was going to submit for a taiko conference next year.  If there is significant interest, I'd share the same presentation at an up-coming maker-space meeting.


I think DMS could probably generate some funding through KS.  It definitely takes good planning and a fair amount of work, but if we played it right, we could do something
 similar.
