Invention is afoot at Davis Makerspace

Calling all inventors!  Come hear about the process of invention with
local inventor Jim Stewart at Davis Makerspace.  Jim will present on
the process of invention from 7:00PM-9:00PM on Wednesday, April, 2nd
at Davis Makerspace, 221 G St. Suite 1337 (in Tim Spencer Alley,
behind Bistro 33).

The presentation will cover topics such as why people invent, the
difference between invention and engineering, as well as provide
resources for aspriring inventors.  Jim Stewart will cover a variety
of his own inventions, both trivial and not.

The presentation will be followed by a question and answer session,
and show and tell.  The event is free, with a $5 suggested donation to
Davis Makerspace.

Davis Makerspace is a nonprofit community organization made up of a
diverse group of builder, makers, hackers and programmer who share an
interest in science, technology, art, and what happens when those
interests collide.  They work with hardware and software, metal and
wood, and anything else they can get their hands on.
