Hi all,

Sorry for the delay, been out of town for a few weeks. Glad that the
library project is starting back up!

A few boardmembers (me and Bill) agree that wood is an ideal surface for
most workstations.
We would also recommend 2 or more metal-top workstations for soldering
(molten tin and wood don't mix well).

Things to look for in furnishings are:

   - Durability (wood or metal surfaces)
   - Efficient use of space (e.g. vertical storage, pegboards, wheeled
workstations, seating that can tuck under tables)
   - Large workspaces! (I see a lot of small carts which are ok for storing
materials, but are often too small for most projects)
   - Dedicated tool and material storage (meaning this doesn't have to be
built into the workspaces. So we can have large vertical "passive"
dedicated storage for tools, and large horizontal "active" workspaces for
   projects)

I took a look at the brands you mentioned in that spreadsheet, and these
are the items that jumped out at me as a good fit:

Workspaces

   <http://campbellkeller.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/Rover.pdf> stool
storage isn't ideal because you can't store stools unless tabletop is
flipped up, but still a nice workspace + storage combo

stools
   tuck under tables, nice!

the large footprint on pg 2. minimal, movable, space underneath for seating
   if needed

Storage Carts

tall,
   movable, great for tools

Maybe:
A couple of these might be good, having a bunch of small drawers is great
for small parts. My concerns with these are that they are not big enough
workspaces to be useful, and not tall enough to be an efficient use of
space

If they have something like one of these, this can be handy (lots of
drawers for small parts, small footprint, vertical storage:

Hope that helps!
