[dms-discuss] idea for a workshop

Hi Everybody,

I had an idea for a workshop and wanted to share it with you to get some feedback. I have seen a lot of paper sculptures on the net, like low poly animal heads:

I found a tutorial on instructables on how to make one from a 3d model (http://www.instructables.com/id/Create-faceted-paper-objects/), so I thought it would be nice if we did something like this in a workshop, especially now that we have a large printer that works, and we can print the whole template on one large card stock.

Pre-cut templates like these cost over $60 on Etsy! I think something like $20 donation would be more realistic for a workshop that includes template and tools (I doubt it would cost more then few dollars for paper and toner per template). The only tools that are needed are rulers, glue and xacto knives which we could also provide.
