Just to be clear, the airplane is a 2-seater. As to
Saturday, weather may be an issue. Mornings and
evenings are best, both for contrasty lighting and
for minimizing turbulence, but mornings can also be
foggy. We'll be flying out of Yolo County Airport
and here's the weather station:

Visibility should probably be at least 6 miles.
Temperature and dewpoint should be widely
separated or diverging, winds should be under
15 knots and not gusty if straight down the runway.
Or under 7-8 if across the runway.
Flying over Davis, we're pretty much constrained
to being 1200-1400 feet above the ground. Below
that and we break a rule for being too close to the
ground over a built-up area. Above that and we
get into Sac International's airspace. We may be
able to get ATC clearance into Sac Int. airspace,
but not to go lower than 1100 feet.
As to cameras, medium telephoto and vibration
reduction are good.
