My name is Josh Wolf and I’m a new volunteer for the Davis Makerspace! I am very excited to help grow the Makerspace to its full potential and would greatly appreciate your help along the way. I wanted to reach out to all of you through this discussion thread to start a conversation about your availabilities to offer emergency volunteer backup support. Ideally we’d even love to have 2 volunteers at a time!<br>
The library is requiring volunteers have backups listed for a designated time block to ensure consistency in published hours. Currently Julie is opening the Makerspace Thursday mornings 9:30-11.<br>
My own schedule is pretty flexible, but I am looking to volunteer in the evenings from 4-8pm one day Monday-Friday.<br>
I am reaching out to all of you to see, maybe some people can offer volunteer backup Tuesday 2-3:30, others maybe Thursday 4-6, etc. Whatever time-blocks and days work for the most people to serve as emergency backups, I will commit to those hours.<br>
