<p class="MsoNormal">Thank you! This list is very helpful. I will share it with my colleagues and we can discuss the idea of circulating tools/kits again. I think an outdoor repair café would be fine. We are currently requiring masks to be worn by anyone over the age of 2, regardless of vaccination status, at outdoor library events. We can provide masks (both child and adult sized) for anyone who shows up without one. A Saturday would be best as we are not open Sundays currently. We find that folks get frustrated when they come to an outdoor event at the library and they can’t come in the building to get books and other materials. I don’t think we have any conflicts, as we have not been doing any in-person programs at Davis, so any Saturday should be fine. Probably the sooner the better, in case we may actually get some rain. We can help with marketing and publicity.</p>

The Davis Makerspace is meeting regularly again! Morale got really low, first with the loss of our space, then with the pandemic, but we’re ramping back up. <br />

<br />

We understand it may be a while before we have space and regular hours, but in the meantime we would like to stay active in more immediately achievable ways. When you are ready and able, we’d like to circulate tools and hold a repair cafe. <br />

<br />

Tools for circulation:<br />

We had briefly discussed circulating tools with you at one point. Here is our inventory spreadsheet. Take a look at the second tab to see if there’s anything you’d be interested in circulating. We are still taking inventory, but we will keep adding to that list as we go through our stash. (Although the items are all listed separately, we’ve lumped some soldering items into a solder kit, and similarly lumped some electrical items into an electrical kit.)<br />

Would we be able to hold an outdoor Repair Cafe at the library on a weekend in the near future? If so, when would work?<br />
