Minutes:

- Library meeting about new space postponed until later this month.
- Peter M does Fixit Clinics in Berkeley.
  - Emphasis on empowerment; teaching people to fix things and keep them involved in the process.
  - Interest in ongoing repair projects so that one isn't limited to a single event.
  - Uses discarded school system Chromebooks with Linux installed on them to act as Fixit appliances that connects to their Discord for getting help with fixing things.

  - Planning to have a celebration in Sacramento for the passing of the Right to Repair law.
  - Emily recounts some of the history of DMS and its affiliation with the Library.
- Nobody has yet responded to Jeremy's donation email; but his items do sound of interest for the hopefully-upcoming Library space.
- Julie brought in some supplies for making plushies.
- Braden is messing with Home Assistant, and open source platform for data collection and automation around the home.
  - He mostly has just messed with whatever devices it happened to pick up around the home, plus some Zigbee-based temperature and humidity sensors.
  - It can also be used to connect to a variety of devices meant for other platforms, either directly or via firmware hacks.
  - Once he has some more experience with it, would like to do some kind of presentations or workshops about it.
