Kickstarter

Hi guys,

In response to the Kickstarter proposal suggested last meeting, I wanted to share a Kickstarter project I worked on over the summer for the Sacramento Taiko Dan.  I did a fair amount of work on this fundraiser (general coordination, writing and page layout, video production, supporter outreach, and more).

As part of this work, I've been preparing a presentation that I was going to submit for a taiko conference next year.  If there is significant interest, I'd share the same presentation at an up-coming maker-space meeting.

I think DMS could probably generate some funding through KS.  It definitely takes good planning and a fair amount of work, but if we played it right, we could do something similar.
