a story </font><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif">by <span style="color:rgb(38,38,38)">Szilárd Matusik </span></span><font class="" face="arial, helvetica, sans-serif">about the artists and programmers who made graphical and sound shorts
during the 80’s and 90’s without the aid of graphical tools</font><font class="Apple-style-span" face="arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="color:rgb(38,38,38)">. </span></font><font class="" face="arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Starting in Eastern Europe, the
popularity of the form grew from the underground distribution of pirated consul
video-games, that had unique intros or “demos” to games.<span style> </span>As the form became more popular, the
games were downplayed, and the demos took center stage.<span style> </span>Large communities of enthusiasts
created beautiful movements, shapes, and colors with only the smallest amount
