On Wednesday at 7 p.m., Jim Stewart will present his design for the
electric race car motor controller which he, along with the Radlamp
Race Team, recently took to the Bay Area Maker Faire in San Mateo.

Radlamp’s electric race car was the only entry in the Power Racing
Series to sport a home-brewed motor controller. Stewart will discuss
the hardware and software design, and how both evolved during
development.

The presentation will be at the Davis Makerspace in Tim Spencer Alley
behind Woodstock’s Pizza. The Radlamp race car itself was shown last
Wednesday. This week’s talk will delve further into the electronics
and programming involved.

Both talks are part of a continuing series of demonstrations at the
Makerspace, all of which are free and open to the public.
