Tonight is DMS’s long-awaited exhibition! Some pieces are celebrating
National Bike Month, and others have more to do with visualized music
and Glitch
Art <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glitch_art>. Come by between 7-9pm.
You'll find us when you look for the bat signal in Tim Spensor Ally.

Davis Makerspace’s local artists and makers are showing various works, some
made from bicycle parts, and some that convey cyclist perspectives, making
room for reflection on the social impact of bicycles and on the cyclist’s
experience of travel and weather. Featured piece: a Zoetrope made from a
bicycle wheel. Visitors are invited to try their own hand at making a
miniature zoetrope animation with paper insets.

Josiah Andrew’s collection of pieces “Seeing Song: The Alchemical
Metamorphs” is built around music that capitalizes on pitch and rhythm
glitches in audio software. The music is then visualized on canvas and
video, creating colorful and electric abstraction.

Davis Space is part of the monthly Downtown Davis ArtAbout tour. (Learn
